City of Paarl has loads to offer when it comes to family entertainment and awesome activities for the kids. We have put together a few awesome things you can do this summer in Paarl, especially for the kids.

Paarl Mountain Reserve

Paarl’s Mountain is truly something amazing and has so much to see and explore. It is perfect for the kids and the whole family. The kids can enjoy the awesome waterfall along the mountain road if you know where it is located. Take the family up to Paarl Rock and either climb to the top of the rock or take a stroll down the stairs, this is really an amazing experience for all.

The Alpaca Loom

Situated in Agter Paarl, The Alpaca Loom is a very awesome activity for kids and the whole family. Have a tour of the place and walk with the alpacas. Spend the afternoon feeding them and laughing at these cute and fluffy animals. The Alpaca Loom has also added a few new animals but we will leave that up to you to find out what they are.

Le Bonheur Crocodile Farm

Be a bit more adventurous and head over to the crocodile farm in Simondium where the kids can experience these amazing animals close up and with no danger involved. Le Bonheur offers an educational guided tour of the crocodile pond – which is home to more than 1 000 reptiles. It really is amazing!

Drakenstein Lion Park

The Drakenstein Lion Park offers an incredible opportunity to see and get educated about these true African Kings. All the lions have been saved and are looked after in such a wonderful manner. Kids can also have fun with the monkey's and the other animals while at the lion park.

Babylonstoren

This is truly a very unique experience and a real educational day for not only the kids but the entire family. Babylonstoren has so much to offer and something for everyone in the family. Explore the gardens and try a new fruit, head over to the restaurants and treat yourself to something amazing! There is so much to do at Babylonstoren and all we can say is that this is a must do for the whole family.
